A wonderful way to organize a large photo library is by using Ratings.
The ratings can mark special or important photos, and quickly filter and find them.
In NeoFinder that is extraordinary simple. Just select one or multiple photos, type the rating from 1 to 5 on your keyword, or use the Ratings menu. Done. Remove a Rating by using the 0 key.
Other than tools like "Apple Photos.app", NeoFinder will imediately write back your rating into the metadata area of your actual photo file, so other applications in your tool chain can see your ratings when you need them.
Read more abour ratings in the NeoFinder Users Guide: https://www.cdfinder.de/guide/4/4.9/ratings.html
And yes, this also works for videos, of course.
Rate your photos!
