I am working on using neoFinder to index all of my old photos.

My question is what metadata tag should I use to enter the names of individuals in the photos?

I want to be able to use smart folders in neoFinder as well as have the Spotlight search in mac to find all images I have with a name. I have tiff, jpg, heif, and pdf images.

you want to use the Persons metadata field:

NeoFinder also helps you with a Persons list and auto-completion upon entering names to avoid spelling errors.
