The IPTC Standards group has recently announced two new textual fields for metadata, named "Alt Text (Accessibility)" and "Extended Description (Accessibility)".

These two fields are supposed to aid the handling of image descriptions, which are important and helpful for people with disabilities, as well as a truly great extension to help large image databases to manage photos.
NeoFinder 8.1.1 adds the ability to edit these two XMP data fields in the XMP Editor of NeoFinder.
And of course, you can edit these fields for multiple files at once, search for them, and more. As you would expect!
If you are unsure on how to write a good image description, here is a nice introdcution on how this can be done:

We hope you enjoy this cool new feature in NeoFinder 8.1.1!
