The View main menu now has the missing All thumbnails in this item command that was already available in the context menu for a while.

This will show you all items with a thumbnail, in the selected Catalog, or folder, and all subfolders inside it.

It will now even work for multiple selected catalogs, and also entire Catalog Folders!

The Contextual Menu for an Album Group in NeoFinder now has commands to create a new Album, or a new Album Group.

You use Album Groups if you have a lot of Albums, and need to put them into groups.

We keep expanding the AppleScript abilities of NeoFinder for improved automation, and NeoFinder 8.7 allows full read and write access the names of files and folders in Catalogs, and the name of Catalogs and Albums.

A lot of pro photographers are very clear about NOT wanting to ever write any metadata into the original RAW files.

But then there are those who don't like the separate XMP "sidecar" files this will create.

So NeoFinder now offers the new choice of writing Annotations, Ratings, Captions, and more directly INTO the Nikon NEF, Canon CR2, Hasselblad FFF, and even 3FR files.

In NeoFinder 8.7, cataloging very large PhaseOne EIP files is a lot faster now, especially when Updating an existing Catalog.

Also, it now shows the file name and resulting thumbnail in the progress window, so you know what NeoFinder is doing for you...
