Year folders?

Q: I was wondering if it is going to ever have a feature that will generate folders by year as it creates the catalogs?

A: you can do that today, if you need it.
With the Find Editor, you can even ask NeoFinder for a specific type, say, only photos, or only videos from that year:

Save that as a Smart Folder, maybe with the name "Photos 2001", done.
