Automatic image analysis?

Hi!

If catalogs are set to automatically update will image analysis (Face recog., Autotag, OCR) proceed likewise or must this process always be triggered manually? If not, ist there a way to accomplish this with a kind of script?

At this time, you indeed need to manually trigger this, as the process takes a long time, and would slow down cataloging tremendously.

Fortunately, if runs in the background, so you can keep working in NeoFinder while it is processing.

We are looking into the speed improvements in Apples M2 architecture and see if that could speed these things up, and then allow us to do that automatically when cataloging data, or updating catalogs.
